She is a beautiful, affluent, self-involved and mildly neurotic London socialite. He is Britain's most photographed bad-boy lothario who broke her heart. But Magnolia Parks and BJ Ballentine are meant to be, and everyone knows it. They're in the stars... just suspended in a strange kind of love that looks like hurting each other a lot of the time: She dates other people to keep him at bay; he sleeps with other girls to get back at her for it. But at the end of their every sad endeavour to get over one another, it's still each other they crawl back to. But their dysfunction is catching up with them, pulling at their seams and fraying the world they've built; a world where neither has to ever let the other go completely. As the cracks start to show and secrets begin to surface, Magnolia and BJ are finally forced to face the formidable question they've been avoiding all their lives: how many loves do you really get in a lifetime?

"Just annoying the back and forth for it to only get interesting at the end 😒"

"Dual POV 4/5 ⭐️ I think? What in the toxic relationship did I just read? I personally love a couple who can communicate and a HEA so this just wasn’t it for me. It was well written but it was like ready I train wreck in slow motion. It’s like British gossip girl but maybe more toxic and with twenty something year olds. I personally don’t think I’d recommend it because it’s not my kind of reading but totally understand the appeal. Also saw the twist at the end coming a mile away. It’s not spicy. Lots of mature content and there is sex (like a lot of sex) but none of it is descriptive so I give it 0/5 spice level. "
"Very well written toxic relationship. Always love dual point of views. Magnolia is everything I dislike about a person. Unbelievably materialistic- if she described one more outfit down the brand names- ready to lose it. And what is there to even like about her? She had zero personality."
"Fourty one. "

"Okay not gonna lie. It was kind of hard to really get into it. It’s a different writing style than I’m used to but the ending 100 pages had me. And I ended up really liking it. It’s not the best but it’s still a great read. It’s not fluff. It looks like it but it’s gossip girl for psychiatrists lol. It’s heavy in some parts. And sad and depressing but also I love a bad bitch in a toxic love. So. You get to decide. "
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... I ate this like if I was starving, and they put a 3 course meal in front of me and said GO! This is the most toxic relationship dynamic I've ever read, and I couldn't get enough of it! Probably says a lot about me, but I know I have issues, lol. I loved the duo POV because it was needed and the writing was so good. Just look up the trigger warnings on this book before you go into it because mannn! You either love this book or you don't. This was purely entertainment for me and so much fun to read. It's messy, full of drama, really rich rich people problems and I can't wait to read the rest of the series! "
