"Gosh, there's a lot of material here. And I don't know enough about any of it to say if it was useful or not. I really got lost when I got to the part that is supposed to actually show you how to do the contemplative prayer for each intelligence center: and I'm a Christian! Do I have myself pegged as a specific Type? Yes. But the Bristol-Myers test can show me what my personality traits are as well. Beyond that, I feel that anything I "need", I can ask directly of the Father, right? I mean, why have all this nonsense? I don't know how to feel about this yet, as it's only my first exposure to the Enneagram. And I don't want to be one of "those" people, but when I quickly glanced at the symbol for the first time, all I could think of was the pentagram. And that unsettled me. I wondered how "Christian" this symbol really is. Seems like a lot of psychologists framed its current meanings and what not, so this is not something that came to us from Above, if you catch my drift. The Bible took care of everything we needed. So, I'm doubtful that the study of this symbol can give me any new epiphanies or direction for living. I'll keep looking to Christ for meaning and direction, thanks."
"Very insightful. "
