Back then, I had it all. Wicked fastball. Killer instinct. Cocky grin. Full package. (And believe me, I knew how to score.)My senior year, I was a first round draft pick with a two-million-dollar signing bonus. Before I could even legally buy myself a beer, I made my Major League debut. Point is, I was invincible.Until one day I wasn't.After tanking my career-during the World Series, no less-the last thing I want to do is return to my hometown, where every jerk in a ball cap has an opinion about what went wrong with my arm. So when my sister drags me back to town for her wedding, I vow to get in and out of there as quickly as possible. Then I run into April Sawyer. In high school we were just friends, but I'd always wanted her, and I'd never forgotten her-the red hair, the incredible smile, the crazy, reckless thing we did in the back of my truck the night we said goodbye. It's been eighteen years, but one look at her and I feel like my old self again. I can still make her laugh, she can still take me down a notch, and when the chemistry between us explodes, it's even hotter this time around-and I don't want it to end.But just when I think I'm ready to let go of the past and get back in the game, life throws me a curveball I never saw coming.

"<strong>All the feels</strong><br/><br/>As always another emotional read from Harlow. We finally get April’s story and it’s a heartbreaking one to say the least. April has been emotionally stunted for the past eighteen years and this is an issue she has been tackling with her therapist. Tyler an old friend/flame bumps into her at their old high school and from their we have magic. I loved their story it was realistic in some aspects and alittle farfetched in others. I was frustrated at times by April’s doormat qualities and Tyler’s selfishness but overall a great read. I would recommend."
"Unforgettable is book sixteen in the Vino and Veritas. This is my first book in the V&V series, and now I need to binge-read the whole series. No worries, this book is standalone.<br/><br/> Reeve is shy, and moves to Vermont for the summer to get away from expectations that are expected of him and to live outside his usual. He Meets Oz for a one-night stand from an app, and they have an unforgettable night. Several weeks later, Reeve gets a job at V & V, unknown to him that Oz works there. So imagine their surprise when they see each other. <br/><br/><b> The plans I have for you include slow, delicious torture,” he informs me. “I want to wring ****** after ****** out of you.”<br/><br/><br/><p> Oz and Reeve decide to be friends. However, Oz needs a fake boyfriend for his family, and Reeve agrees. These two can't keep their hands off each other, and it's so moving. My heart melted for these two. <br/><br/> I fell into the wonderful world of Oz, and I didn't want to leave. I couldn't get enough of these two. Unforgettable started with a bang, and I was afraid that point on the book would fizzle. I should have known better with Marley Valentine; she has such a beautiful way with words. Unforgettable is a steamy, intense book. It's about expectations, the pressure of family, and Happiness."
