“This is officially my favorite holiday romance. I loved every single minute of it, and wished it never had to end… The epitome of the Christmas Romance… I cannot recommend this book enough.” Marensreads ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐She’s meant to be catching flights, not catching feelings… Molly and Andrew are just trying to get home to Ireland for the holidays, when a freak snowstorm grounds their flight. Nothing romantic has ever happened between them: they’re friends and that’s all. But once a year, for the last ten years, Molly has spent seven hours and fifteen minutes sitting next to Andrew on the last flight before Christmas from Chicago to Dublin, drinking terrible airplane wine and catching up on each other’s lives. In spite of all the ways the two friends are different, it’s the holiday tradition neither of them has ever wanted to give up. Molly isn’t that bothered by Christmas, but—in yet another way they’re total opposites—Andrew is a full-on fanatic for the festive season and she knows how much getting back to Ireland means to him. So, instead of doing the sane thing and just celebrating the holidays together in America, she does the stupid thing. The irrational thing. She vows to get him home. And in time for his mam’s famous Christmas dinner. The clock is ticking. But Molly always has a plan. And—as long as the highly-specific combination of taxis, planes, boats, and trains all run on time—it can’t possibly go wrong. What she doesn’t know is that, as the snow falls over the city and over the heads of two friends who are sure they’re not meant to be together, the universe might just have a plan of its own… A totally gorgeous and escapist friends-to-lovers festive romance with a swoon-worthy hero. Perfect for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Mhairi McFarlane, and Christina Lauren. Readers are head over heels for Holiday Romance: “SOUND THE ALARM!!! "Perfectly shows the manic holiday travel. What a classic plot and it was my favorite part. I've never traveled for the Holiday's but there is something about the rush to get home. Hurtling obstacles so you're not left out of the family traditions or your favorite dish that your mother or father makes. It's practically a Christmas staple.
The banter was great. Molly and Andrew have such chemistry even though they aren't a lot alike. Molly is hard-working and not so into Christmas. Andrew is a seemingly slacker who is very much into Christmas and ugly Christmas sweaters. This made for some fun times.
Still, it is always difficult for me to believe in a long relationship finally turning into romance. I guess because I can't relate. I've always known my feelings for someone after a little while and to go that long seems unbelievable. Still, it didn’t take much away from the book.
Again the traveling rush before the Holiday's was my favorite. It brought so much stress and crazy fun. Also, the two different family traditions were great to see. Just because you don't go all out for Christmas doesn't mean there isn't love of getting together. This story just reminded me of so many classic movies smashed together with a dash of spice and I was all about it haha. And a notable mention of the narrator Shelley Atkinson. She did amazing."
"This book is a must-read for the holiday season. The characters have real depth that is displayed over a ten year time frame. The timing, jumping back and forth between present-time and events over the past ten years is so well-done. Molly and Andrew have such chemistry and I love how they slowly figure things out. The slow-burn is real with this book, and I felt like these were truly adults and handled their relationship as such. I felt like I was in the holiday spirit with this book, even though I read it in September. Excellent read that I highly recommend. 2/5 for spice"

"This was ADORABLE. I picked this up on a whim for the travel theme but I really enjoyed it. It was cute and the banter actually made me laugh out loud (there was a line about December Capricorns that I’m still giggling at) but mostly it turns out I’m a sucker for friends to lovers. I would say it’s unrealistic but actually I don’t know it it is. Maybe my little Grinch heart is growing, but I was rooting for those two crazy kids, and I didn’t think it was bizarre or strange. I liked this as a stand-alone and who knows, maybe I’ll surprise myself and pick up the next of the “series.”"
