I first read this when it came out and I loved it. Six years later, I reread it and realized that it is really not as good as I remember. It's premise is fantastic and it has so much potential, but the dialogue and narration are poorly written and repetitive (besides setting descriptions). This story requires the book to be longer with flashbacks and more buildup to major plot points. I especially wish Willa and Nathaniel's relationship was given more time and development."
