"An amazing book. One of the best so far. The flip from one character to another was actually what made me not want to put the book down."

"I did not believe i would really like this book, let alone finish it. This is by far now one of my favorite books of all time. It is so heartbreaking and beautiful and tragic and women empowered. I will be rereading this at least yearly. I do recommend for everyone, even if you, like I did, believe it is not the book or genre for you. Kristin Hannah has such a beautiful, captivating writing style."
"I liked this book. I felt the ending was underwhelming. It seemed that after the build up of the entire book I didn’t expect the book to end on an unsatisfying note. It does make sense considering WW2, but I felt like more could be done with the end because the rest of the book is extremely well written. "
"Great book! I usually don't read historical fiction but the relationships in this book were so deep and real and complex. Seriously great book. I cried, a lot. Definitely worth reading."
