"I initially picked this book up because of the impressive and beautiful cover art and because of the Grecian title. I loved how the author tied ancient Greek mythology to 16th century London. Some of the characters, especially the main character, Dora, fell flat. Despite being fairly predictable it was a book I was excited to pick up and read. Overall, everything, the plot, characters, suspense, was average. There was nothing I truly hated about the book but not a whole lot that stands out either. I’m glad I read it and consider reading another work of Stokes Chapman. 3.5/5"
"I loved this! An engaging historical magical realism story with great characters and an intriguing plot. A fun blend of Ancient Greek mythology and Regency era England that keeps you turning the pages. "

""Pandora" by Susan Stokes-Chapman is, a historical fiction with a Greek artifacts taking place in London 1779 that follows a young aspiring jewel artist when she finds said Greek artifact.

I would give "Pandora" by Susan Stokes-Chapman a 2-star review because, when reading the premise I was expecting for greek retelling aspects, I found the characters bland though I did enjoy how this takes place in London."
