The Torchbearer

Guardian of the Universe Kyle Rayner was the last of the proud tradition of Green Lanterns, an intergalactic peacekeeper armed with a power ring limited only by his imagination. But with Kyle's help, the near-omnipotent Guardians of the Universe and the Green Lantern Corps were born anew. Now a new role awaits Kyle, that of Ion, granting him greater power than he ever imagined as a Green Lantern. But it remains to be seen whether this vast Ion power will be a boon or a curse. Kyle is seemingly not himself, acting strangely out of character and leaving a wake of senseless destruction and unanswered questions. Will Kyle remain the same everyman hero he's always been?
