Rocket Power

"This show came out when I was 3. I was deaf back then. I loved the show growing up, but find the kids extremely rude now. I think, due to my deafness, I focused solely on Reggie doing sports and not the show in itself. I was very envious of her growing up. She got to hang out with guys and just be a kid. I was stuck by myself with books or helping cook. Twister was my favourite, but he is the rudest of the bunch. I understand what the lesson goal was, but a child might not actually pick up on the good qualities of the show; such as don’t bully, and only focus on the freedom the 9 and 10 year olds have. I think most kids would be envious. These kids seem to just be off on their own most of the time and travel all over town. Ignoring all that and this show is just, well not good. "

"This show really made me want to go out and learn to roller blade, and surf and skate board cuz I thought it was the coolest thing ever. It was fun and active and simple. Loved it."
