"I found this book randomly in a Thrift shop one day, not looking for it and it captivated me so I bought it. I was probably 12 at the time. Another twelve years later with just about as many readings (if not more), this book will always be near and dear to me. I recently wrote to the author to express how much her books especially this one means to me. I got a reply which warmed my heart. It's a great early teens love story where you learn to be yourself and stop pretending for other people. Sophie and Murphy always come to life for me brand new no matter how many times I turn the pages, no matter what age I am."
"While taking my son for a walk, my grandma found this book in our neighborhood library box intended for my little sister. After reading it herself she realized that it was too mature for her and gave it to me to read. Thank you to whoever put this book in the box. I loved it! I got so into it that I didn't even realize I had gotten to the last page until there were no more words after the cliffhanger."
"anyone can easily read through this book, very simplistic; however, it kept me interested!!"
