"It was so interesting to finally gather a more detailed character profile for Soichi! Up until now, not many short stories about Soichi have been translated into English yet. So, it was such a fun journey to explore Soichi's expanded universe! I will admit that before I read this book, I was unsure if I would like this this particular short story collection, but I was pleasantly surprised! Up until this collection was released, Soichi was not my "favorite" character, and I didn't find him to be that interesting in the Ito Universe. However, after reading this collection of stories centered around him, I have a better grasp of his character and have built a stronger respect for his character overall. "Four-Layered Room" definitely has to be my favorite short story in this collection! "
