MeruPuri, Vol. 1

"I first started this book and I was completely ready to DNF it on page 24. I tried it again and actually found that it was interesting. <br/><br/>The story is fairly unique. The girl wants to get her soulmate and so she tries to get to school on time daily. She’s doing pretty well on that. The prince is so sweet and fairly innocent. He is childish (but it’s okay) and has the perfect amount of protectiveness. <br/><br/>I think they’re fairly well suited to each other, especially because this guy is actually mindful of her and her feelings. (Yay!!!) She isn’t completely mindful of his feelings but I suspect that’s going to change. <br/><br/>The art style is from the early 2000s and is similar to late ‘90s, with the huge detailed eyes that seem blurred and the razor sharp jawlines. Not my favorite but I’ll suffer through it because of the story and characters. <br/><br/>His hairstyle is super fun. I like it because it isn’t the stereotypical anime boy hairdo. <br/><br/>Such a cute fantasy contemporary romance. I probably reread this five times just because I enjoyed it so much."
