"I love Kandi Steiner’s hockey series so I figured I would give some of her other novels a try. I liked this one and I am interested in continuing the series, but I felt like the conflict toward the end of this story was very overdramatic and unnecessary. Literally nothing drastic even happens to either of them, but especially not to Riley, and she blows up everything in a super childish way. There were a few other instances of things that just didn’t add up throughout the story, especially surrounding Zeke’s dyslexia, which I might just be extra sensitive to since I have a background in special education."
