They're both desperate to find a doctor who can reverse the twisted changes inflicted by the angels on Raffe and Penryn's sister. As they set off in search of answers, a startling revelation about Raffe's past unleashes dark forces that threaten them all. When the angels release an apocalyptic nightmare onto humans, both sides are set on a path toward war. As unlikely alliances form and strategies shift, who will emerge victorious? Forced to pick sides in the fight for control of the earthly realm, Raffe and Penryn must choose: Their own kind, or each other?

"It was kind of hard to want to finish this book. The series started out very well and took many twist and turns I would never expect. It's hard to explain why my heart wasn't fully in this book. I did like it but something was missing or maybe the plot was to much to believe. I did enjoy all the characters and their quirks. I feel that Pynren and Raphael need more overall dialogue. Especially since the last two books they are away from each other for a good time. Also the sword didn't say or show her anything that I can remember and she is one of my favorite characters. The ended and prologue was so quick also not giving the reader enough time to say goodbye but it does sum up things you needed to know."

"3.75 Stars Rounded to 4.

WWTQ: What would the post-apocalyptic world look like if Dean and Cas could be together?

The last installment has the characters facing down the big-bad, but the big-bad wasn't really all that bad and it's a bit anticlimactic, which I guess makes sense when you start with the end of the world.

I liked it. It wrapped up ok, but I did like that Dead and Cas, sorry the FMC and MMC got to finally be together."
