"<strong>Not a solid four but still a good read</strong><br/><br/>Overall this story has me wanting to read the next instalment however I was losing interest 2/3 the way through. It’s written in third person and has multiple persons outlook that I found took away from the emotional and devastating sentiments that the characters would be feeling at times. Shepherd needs to do a complete 180 for me to like him. Claire is a strong female character that I’m liking more as the story goes on. Beware it ends on a cliffhanger."

"It’s definitely a dark romance. It was decent enough and did the entire mates thing, but the moment he cheated on her and made her LISTEN to it. I was out. I was gonna read the second book but it’s not on KU so I’m not going to spend money either bc I do not like cheaters. He’s so clueless it’s disgusting. I like the guy who helps her out and am rooting for him. We all know that ain’t gonna happen, but I also won’t be finding out either. Unless it gets put on KU."
